Spotlight: Sports Leadership Academy
Turning Passion into a Profession Our Sports Leadership pathway is one of our most successful employability routes.
The Qualification: Level 2 Sports Leadership.
The Results: This year, we qualified 8 young people as Sports Leaders.
Real Jobs: 6 of these leaders immediately took up paid work as sessional junior coaches across our community sports hubs.
Current Cohort: A further 20 Sports Leaders have been qualified over the October half term.

Delivery Options
Our courses are flexible and can be delivered in school or community settings.
Formats: Available as 3-hour workshops or 6-week courses.
Levels: Pre-entry, Entry Level, Level 1, and Level 2 available.
Group Size: Typical pricing is based on groups of 10 students.
Staffing: Delivered by 2 members of staff.
Cost Estimate: Typical prices range from £800 – £1,600 depending on the course length and level.

89 Total AQA qualifications awarded this year (55 via mentoring + 34 via sports athletes).
5 Young people gained Emergency First Aid qualifications.
2 Mentees gained First Aid qualifications and were employed as Stride staff over the summer holidays.
