Specialist 1:1 Mentoring for High-Impact Change

A trauma-informed intervention for young people aged 8–18 (or up to 25 with SEND) who have experienced Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) or are at risk of criminal exploitation.

Trauma-Informed & Goal-Oriented

This is a referral-only programme designed to support individuals with high-level needs. We offer a flexible delivery model, taking place in schools or community-based settings.

How it works

SEMH Focus

Weekly mentoring sessions with a specific focus on Social, Emotional, and Mental Health.

Personalised Goals

We use personalised goal-setting with regular tracking of progress to ensure distance travelled.

Specialist Access

We provide access to specialist services such as 42nd Street (mental health support) where escalation is required5.

Qualified Staff

Our team includes staff trained in trauma-informed approaches, Advanced DSL, and Youth Mental Health First Aid.

The Curriculum: Accredited Life Skills

We don’t just talk; we teach. We have successfully delivered a range of AQA Unit Award modules to individuals on a 1:1 basis.

    • Wellbeing: Understanding Emotions

    • Leadership Skills

    • Identifying Employment Skills & Career Paths

    • CV Writing & Preparing for Interviews

  • Impact: In total, 55 AQA qualifications have been awarded to our young people this year.

Impact: Hard Outcomes

Crime Reduction: 20 young people were known to the police at the time of referral. At the completion of their mentoring journey, 0 were still involved with the police or known to be a continued police concern

School Attendance: We have seen a 100% improvement in attendance for young people flagged as poor attenders when they joined.

Exclusion: 65% of those deemed at risk of permanent exclusion have been reintegrated into education.

1:1 Mentoring

  • Format: 20-week programme of intensive support

  • Includes: Weekly 1:1 sessions, bespoke framework, close monitoring of outcomes, and access to specialist services
